Date format

Date format

To change the date format of a field, start by clicking on "Format options" on the right side of the field.

To modify the presentation of date values, specify the desired format. Only set this value if you require formatted date values, such as for CSV files. Please be aware that when a format is applied, the column is formatted as text in Excel, and will no longer be recognized as a date. To revert to the default presentation, simply clear the format field.

Here are some common date formats along with their outcomes:

  1. YYYY/MM/DD --> 2024/06/26

  2. DD.MM.YYYY --> 26.06.2024

  3. MM-DD-YYYY --> 06-26-2024

  4. YYYY-MM-DD --> 2024-06-26

  5. DD/MM/YYYY --> 26/06/2024

  6. DD-MM-YYYY --> 26-06-2024

  7. YYYY.MM.DD --> 2024.06.26

  8. D MMM YYYY --> 26 Jun 2024

  9. MMM D, YYYY --> Jun 26, 2024

  10. MMMM D, YYYY --> June 26, 2024

You can also mix these date formats with text in brackets, like this: "[Today is] dddd". Our app includes an instant "Date Preview" feature to make editing easier.

If you need more complex formats, you can use the following "tokens" to create your own custom date format:
