How to allow DataChamp to connect to my FTP server?
When setting up a connection to an FTP or sFTP server using DataChamp, you may encounter situations where the connection is blocked due to security settings. Many FTP servers require whitelisting specific IP addresses to allow secure access. This guide will help you understand how to whitelist DataChamp’s IP addresses to ensure a smooth and secure connection.
How to Whitelist DataChamp’s IP Addresses:
Obtain DataChamp’s IP Addresses:
To allow DataChamp to connect to your FTP or sFTP server, you need to provide the following IP addresses to your IT or system administrator:
IP Address 1: 5.75.162.93
IP Address 2: 116.203.206.18
IP Address 3: 116.203.222.58
Share the IP Addresses with Your Administrator:
Contact the person responsible for managing your FTP server and provide them with the IP addresses listed above.
Ask them to add these IP addresses to the server’s whitelist or firewall rules to permit access from DataChamp.
Test the Connection:
After the IP addresses have been whitelisted, attempt to connect DataChamp to your FTP server again.
If the connection is successful, DataChamp will be able to upload and manage reports via your FTP server without further issues.
